Capital Campaigns

Running a capital campaign requires strong administrative infrastructure to assure ongoing fundraising. This type campaign generally raises a specific amount of funding for a specific project during a specific time frame.

A Campaign Director coordinates the capital campaign. The board and staff alone should not try to run a campaign without support of key community leaders. Volunteers and donors are invaluable to a capital campaign and need to know there is a director responsible for managing the campaign. Volunteer leadership could very well be the single most important element of a successful campaign.

Fundraising

A Fundraising Committee is instrumental in raising funds in support of the organization’s overall Mission and Objectives. Fundraising can include grants, special events such as E-Waste, donations, and capital campaigns.
